VCAN1643 Video Data RC Wireless Transmission System

The VCAN1643 Video Data RC Wireless Transmission System is a highly integrated and professional solution designed for modern UAV, drone, and industrial applications. It allows simultaneous transmission of FHD video, data, and RC (remote control) signals, providing a comprehensive wireless link that meets the demanding requirements of drone operators and aerial professionals.

Highly Integrated “All-in-One” Transmission

VCAN1643 is an all-in-one wireless transmission solution. The air unit is equipped with HDMI, SDI, CVBS, and Ethernet ports, enabling video input from a wide range of cameras and sensors. The ground unit provides HDMI and Ethernet outputs, allowing live video monitoring on monitors or control stations. Additionally, the system includes two UART ports and an SBUS port, enabling data transmission, telemetry, and RC signals to be transmitted simultaneously with video. This integration reduces the need for multiple separate systems, streamlining drone operations and enhancing reliability.

Long-Distance Transmission Capabilities

The VCAN1643 system supports ultra-long-range transmission. The M50 model provides a maximum transmission distance of 7 km, while the M51 model extends coverage up to 17 km, under ideal line-of-sight (LOS) conditions. This makes it suitable for surveying, mapping, inspection, and cinematography drones where long-range, stable transmission is critical.

The system operates on three frequency bands: 800 MHz, 1.4 GHz, and 2.4 GHz, allowing users to select the most suitable frequency for their environment. The 2.4 GHz band is certified with CE and SRRC standards, ensuring compliance with international safety and wireless communication regulations. Users can configure the frequency via the web interface or Maestro Assistant software, but it is essential to select frequencies that comply with local laws and regulations.

Flexible Communication Modes

VCAN1643 supports frequency hopping mode and fixed mode to optimize performance in different scenarios. When operating multiple drones in close proximity, fixed mode with narrow bandwidth is recommended to minimize interference and maximize link stability.

The system supports point-to-point mode as well as repeater mode. Repeater mode is particularly useful for non-line-of-sight (NLOS) conditions, such as urban environments or complex terrain. By adding an additional air unit, users can easily extend transmission coverage while maintaining stable video and control signal integrity. The configuration is simple and can be performed through the web interface or Maestro Assistant.

Ultra-Low Latency Performance

VCAN1643 features advanced CODEC technology, ensuring that data latency remains below 30 ms, and 1080P60 HD video latency stays within 200 ms. This low-latency performance is critical for real-time FPV control, precision drone operations, and live broadcast applications, where even minor delays can impact operational effectiveness.

Robust Security

The system implements double encryption technology, providing secure transmission of video and data. Users can enable encryption and set private codes through the software or web page, ensuring that sensitive information remains protected from unauthorized access or interference.

Wide Compatibility

VCAN1643 is designed to support a variety of gimbals and camera systems on the market. It is compatible with HDMI, SDI, CVBS, and Ethernet video ports, while the UART ports support both Mavlink and Transparent protocols. The UART interface can operate at TTL or RS232 levels, depending on the user’s requirements. Customers should provide detailed specifications when placing an order to ensure optimal integration with their UAV or ground equipment.

Applications

Due to its long-range, low-latency, and high-reliability design, VCAN1643 is ideal for:

  • Industrial drone inspections, including pipelines, power lines, and infrastructure
  • Surveying and mapping operations
  • FPV drones for cinematography
  • Live broadcasting from UAVs or mobile platforms
  • Situations requiring secure, simultaneous transmission of video, telemetry, and control data

Summary

The VCAN1643 Video Data RC Wireless Transmission System is a professional, all-in-one solution for modern UAV operations. It integrates FHD video, data, and RC signals, supports multiple frequency bands, offers ultra-low latency, and ensures secure transmission. Its flexible interfaces, multi-mode operation, and long-distance performance make it a versatile choice for industrial drones, cinematic drones, and other demanding aerial applications. By combining robust security, high compatibility, and advanced communication technology, VCAN1643 provides operators with a reliable, high-performance wireless transmission system for complex and professional UAV missions.
