Do you have a product or solution for this requirement?
I wanted to know if you had any solution/product for an HD video transmission and reception system having about 12-15km range. Additionally, we are planning to establish a Multi-point to point system wherein multiple transmitters would need to transmit to a single receiver (Max. Number of transmitter nodes: 10-15). I would like to further discuss this requirement and would love to hear from you
Our engineer recommended the below models to meet your requirements.

We also have a test video on youtube. (from mountain top to the seaside, 27km)

1. For one transmitter to one receiver, 10km, 2W power amplifier is ok.
IP camera, RJ-45 net cable, Transmitter, Receiver, two nodes for one full set transmission is needed.
2. If your camera is HDMI or SDI, then HDMI encode on the transmitter and HDMI decodes at the receiver is necessary.
HDMI-1080P Encoder
HDMI-4K Encoder
HDMI Decode
3. For multi-transmitter to one receiver, 10km, we suggested that you choose the 10W Power amplifier.
10~15 air transmitter (12~15km), 1 receiver at the ground.
The wireless part: 10W Power Amplifier is needed, it is estimated that the total code stream from multi-transmitter to the ground receiver is 15~20Mbps, so when there are 10~15 nodes, the average code stream of each is 15~20M per node, that is, the code stream from each air terminal to the ground terminal is 1~2Mbps, and H265 1080P video can also be transmitted.

1. Point-to-Point Transmission (One Transmitter to One Receiver)
For a standard point-to-point setup where one transmitter communicates with one receiver, a 2W power amplifier is sufficient to cover distances up to around 10 km. In this case, the system configuration is relatively simple:
- IP Camera → RJ-45 network cable → Transmitter → Receiver → Display Device
This setup forms a complete transmission chain with two nodes, ensuring stable HD video delivery.
If your camera outputs via HDMI or SDI, then you will need to integrate encoding and decoding modules. At the transmitter side, the HDMI signal should be encoded using either our HDMI 1080P Encoder or HDMI 4K Encoder, depending on your resolution requirements. At the receiver side, a corresponding HDMI decoder will output the video to your display or monitoring system.
2. Multi-Point to One-Point Transmission (Multiple Transmitters to One Receiver)
For your requirement of having 10–15 transmitters sending video to a single ground receiver over a range of 12–15 km, we recommend using a 10W power amplifier to guarantee stable and reliable performance. In such a configuration:
- The wireless transmission part is handled by the 10W PA system, providing sufficient power and stability for multiple uplink streams.
- Based on our calculations, when 10–15 airborne transmitters are connected, the total code stream at the ground receiver is about 15–20 Mbps.
- This means that the average code stream for each individual transmitter node is approximately 1–2 Mbps.
With H.265 compression technology, it is fully possible to transmit 1080P HD video within this bitrate range. This ensures efficient bandwidth usage, high video quality, and smooth real-time transmission without noticeable delay.
In summary, our COFDM-based long-range HD video transmission system, paired with the appropriate power amplifier and encoder/decoder modules, can fully support your project requirements. Whether you need a simple point-to-point setup or a more complex multi-transmitter-to-one-receiver system, we can provide a reliable and scalable solution. Our technology has been field-tested in challenging environments, proving robust performance for applications such as drones, UAV payloads, surveillance, reconnaissance, and other professional video transmission needs.
