Why is the ISDB-T in the Philippines not available in Botswana?

Although Botswana and the Philippines both adopt the digital TV standard ISDB-T formulated by Japan, in their actual application, the Philippines uses 6Mhz of bandwidth, while Botswana uses 8Mhz of bandwidth. Therefore, when people in Botswana buy digital TV, they must ask clearly or require that the bandwidth of the TV set-top box is 8Mhz. This is a very special situation. Among all the countries that adopt the ISDB-T standard, only Botswana and Maldives are required 8M bandwidth, this kind of TV box must be specially customized. That is, digital TV in the Philippines cannot be used in Botswana.
