The USB web camera to IP Ethernet converter based on the RV1126 processor is a compact, high-performance solution that allows any standard USB UVC camera to be converted into a professional IP camera stream. Designed for applications where flexibility, low latency, and high video quality are critical, this module is an ideal choice for wireless video transmission, remote monitoring, and integration into UAVs, robotics, security systems, and embedded vision platforms.
Overview
At its core, the converter utilizes Rockchip’s RV1126 SoC, a powerful processor with advanced ISP (Image Signal Processing), efficient hardware encoding (H.264/H.265), and multi-format codec support. By connecting a standard UVC-compliant USB camera, the RV1126 development board encodes and streams the video into Ethernet IP format. The video can then be transmitted through a wired LAN or further integrated with a wireless IP transmitter for long-range video applications.
This design makes it possible to turn any simple USB camera into an ONVIF/RTSP compatible IP camera, fully interoperable with NVRs, VMS systems, and RTSP video players. The solution is customizable for OEM/ODM projects where clients require hardware adaptation, firmware modification, or software development to meet specialized application requirements.
