IP video stream to CVBS HDMI decoder latency lower box
Table of Contents
Feature
- This H.264 decoder supports high-definition video output at resolutions up to 1920×1080 at 60 frames per second.
- It has Ethernet input and HDMI/AV output.
- Record video to a Micro SD card or USB drive.
- Manage this video decoder box via web UI or UART.
- With our encoder module, typical video latency is around 200 milliseconds.
- Support proprietary H.264 video decompression only used p-frames for lowest latency as 50ms to 130ms

- The VCAN2095 uses H.264 to decode video and audio; Ethernet input video is decoded and output through HDMI and AV. The input video stream may also be UDP-TS or RTSP video.
- It offers a variety of comprehensive signal outputs, including 1080p/720p HD video, down-converted HD CVBS monitor video, and dual analog audio.
- The VCAN2095 DVR function records to a Micro SD card or USB drive, controlled by a switch.
- The VCAN2095 also features a built-in RTSP server, allowing video streaming over Ethernet to remote software or hardware decoders (optional).
- This compact device is ideal for embedded applications and real-time live video monitoring over wireless or Ethernet.

- Using our video encoder, two-way wireless linker, and the VCAN2095 video decoder, the 1080p60 video signal experiences roughly a 200ms delay from input to HDMI output.
- In low-latency mode (using proprietary H.264 video decompression with only p-frames), the total latency is approximately 50~130ms.

* OSD Key: turn on/off the status of the OSD displaying, long press it to switch(more than 1s). the status will be kept after reboot. When the OSD status is on without any OSD data input from the data uart, the system will display video information (video bitrates, etc.) on the video screen. When the OSD status is on with data input from the data uart, the system will display text information of the uart data on the video screen.
* REC key: switch button for video recording, short press to change it’s status. VCAN2095 will automatically check the storage device(micro SD card or USB disk, priority SD card) after power on and start to record video when the storage device is inserted. Just press the button to stop or record again.

FAQ
Q1: Why is your decoder board more expensive than the decoder boards used at home?
A1: Our encoding board and decoding board are not for home use. They are mainly used in aerial drones and ground robots. Its biggest advantage is ultra-low latency. If this decoding board is used together with our encoding board, the total latency from encoding to decoding is only 50~130 milliseconds. We also provide web pages and serial port control commands. We can also customize some functions according to your project.

Ramazan Havan –
With the implementation of this decoder box, we have completely resolved all latency issues that were previously present. The video conversion process seamlessly transitions from IP to CVBS/HDMI formats, resulting in consistently clear and high-definition image quality throughout the conversion. These systems are perfectly suited for use in security systems and live broadcasts, offering unparalleled performance and reliability in both applications.
