Signals description
Encoder board I/O port

Power-in and 5V-out
The power input interface is a 2PIN PH2.0mm connector. The module also provides a 5V power output (two solder holes) for fan that it may be required when the module is integrated with a power amplifier.
HDMI-out
HDMI-out is for video output when this 4K HDMI encoder module works independently as a video decoder. The HDMI-out port doesn’t work when the 4K HDMI encoder module is connected with the COFDM modulator module.
Ethernet1
When 4K HDMI encoder module works independently as a video encoder or decoder, Ethernet1 is valid. When 4K HDMI encoder module connects with the COFDM modulator module, Ethernet1 can’t work because the Ethernet port signals in Ethernet1 and FPC-main are multiplexed.
Ethernet2
The IP address of Ethernet2 is fixed as 192.168.0.215 in firmware, so it can’t be changed. It has a built-in web server in the system, and customers can manage parts of the parameters via the web UI (URL address: http://192.168.0.215/). Ethernet2 supports connecting IP cameras. The system has a built-in RTSP client to get the RTSP video stream from IP cameras. It needs to set the RTSP video stream URL address of the IP camera to the system via the web UI first.
Ethernet2 is a 4PIN 1.25mm pitch connector, it can be installed according to the customer’s installation needs, either using the vertical insertion connector as shown in the above image, or using the 90-degree bent insertion connector as shown in the image below, with the interface extending out of the right side plate edge.
Analog audio-in/out
When the 4K HDM encoder board is used together with the COFDM modulator module as a COFDM transmitting module, the Audio-out signal pin is invalid. Only the audio-in and GND signal pins are required as analog audio input signal pins.

Data uart
The module supports one channel of UART data packed with the video stream and transmitted. When the VCAN1776-TX-4KHDMI module works paired with a Vcan1776-RX receiver, this UART data will be transferred to the data UART of our COFDM receiver module.
Control uart
4PIN PH1.25mm connector, TTL 3.3V. The 4K HDMI Encoder board system can be setup via this control UART with AT commands. Our Parameter Configure Panel can be connected to this control UART directly.
LEDs and GPIO
There are three signal indicator lights (LED1/LED2/LED3) on the right side of the 4K HDMI encoder module board, and the indicator light signals are simultaneously connected to the J6011 connector pins (4PIN 1.25mm connector). Some customers may need to assemble indicator LEDs on their housing case, so they can use J6011 connector pins to add indicator LEDs on their housing case.
When the 4K HDMI encoder module works with a COFDM modulator module, the corresponding signals of the indicator lights are as follows:
| LEDs | Description | Corresponding J6011 PIN |
| LED1 | Power-LED: red color, constant light when the board is normal powered. | LED1-PIN |
| LED2 | Green color, constant light when the input video is detected successfully, otherwise it will not light. | LED2-PIN |
| LED3 | Encoding-LED: green color, blinks when video encoding normally. | LED3-PIN |
