Android Phone Video Player R380-1.1.3(20250221).apk
https://drive.google.com/file/d/12_NnUgppvDknAVRR8Odqxc97V7BEsfxT/view
Questions: Can I use VLC instead of the R380 app to view the video stream? I bought the CVBS encoder + 4G module.
Answer: VLC cannot directly replace the R380 app. The R380 app is designed to connect to the CVBS video encoder through the 4G module for real-time decoding and display. VLC, on the other hand, is a general LAN-based media player and does not support direct point-to-point connection over 4G.
If you set up an RTMP server, you can forward the video stream from the encoder to the RTMP server, and then use VLC to play the RTMP stream. However, this requires an additional server setup and may introduce extra latency.
Question: I am more interested in remote setups and downloads. Is it possible for me to configure it using a VPN server?
Answer: It supports setting up a web server, but not a VPN.
Question: Is there an encryption feature? Does WebRTC have encryption capabilities?
Answer:Our encoding board itself does not have encryption function, but the communication protocol has encryption function. A username and password are required to enter the management page. WebRTC is an optional protocol, not a mandatory built-in one. Users cannot see it if they don’t need it.
Question: Can I use GStreamer and a VPN with this AV over IP encoding board?
Question: I am looking for an encoder to convert AHD/CVI streams to IP ONVIF streams. Does this device support that?
Yes. This encoder fully meets your requirements. It supports analog video inputs such as AHD, CVI, and TVI, and outputs network video streams compliant with ONVIF, UDP, and RTSP protocols.
