When using our COFDM transceiver module, users may need to change the configuration parameters of the module. In order to facilitate customer use, we developed the LCD panel Parameter Configuration Tool (here in after referred to as PCT) for parameter configuration. The details are as follows.
Table of Contents
User interface introduction
OLED screen display:
Parameter Configuration Tool is equipped with a 0.96-inch OLED display to display our COFDM transceiver module parameters (center frequency, bandwidth, etc.) for users to query and change as needed.

Enter Key
Parameter Configuration Tool is equipped with 3 function buttons, which are used to switch parameter display, or edit and change parameter values as needed.

Keyword | effect |
MENU | Enter/exit edit mode (Long press)In edit mode: switch the high and low bits of the parameters to be edited (Short press) |
UP | In normal mode: switch between basic parameters or advanced parameters screen (Short press)In edit mode: add parameter value with (Short press); switch parameters to be edited (Long press) |
DOWN | In normal mode: switch between basic parameters or advanced parameters screen (Short press)In edit mode: reduce the parameter value with (Short press); switch parameters to be edited (Long press) |
How to use?
Parameter display
When Parameter Configuration Tool is powered on, the waiting for connection screen will be displayed on the LCD:

After Parameter Configuration Tool successfully communicates with our COFDM transceiver module, the got parameter values of the transceiver module will be displayed on the digital tube. The basic parameter page is displayed by default. Users can press “UP” or “DOWN” button to switch to the advanced parameter page.

Parameter modification:
The basic parameters page is displayed by default. If the user needs to view or change advanced parameters, he can short press “UP” or “DOWN” button to switch to the advanced parameter page.
In the default mode, only parameters can be previewed. If the user needs to change the parameters, please press and hold “MENU” button to enter parameter editing mode.
In edit mode, the edited parameter value will flash. If the customer needs to switch parameters, long press “UP” or “DOWN” Press the button to switch. If you do not need to switch parameters, you can short press “MENU” Press the key to switch the high and low bits of the parameter that need to be edited. The corresponding bit to be edited will flash as a prompt, and then press “UP” or “DOWN” Press the button to increase or decrease the value of the corresponding bit of the parameter.
After modifying the parameters (Allows multiple parameters to be changed at one time), long press “MENU” button, all current parameters will flash (The parameter name and parameter value flash together), then release “MENU” button to complete editing and exit the editing mode. The new parameter values will be written into our COFDM transceiver module.
Commonly used frequency point entry and switching
Commonly used frequency entry methods
In default mode, press and hold “UP” and “DOWN” Press two buttons for 2-3 seconds to enter Frequently used frequency entry page(Maximum configuration allowed4common frequency points):

COFDM TX/RX vxx |
1: Frequency (KHz) |
2: Frequency (KHz) |
3: Frequency (KHz) |
4: Frequency (KHz) |
If no commonly used frequencies have been entered before, all commonly used frequencies will be displayed as 000000(Represents not set); If a common frequency point has been set before, the value of the corresponding frequency point will be displayed.
Frequently used frequency entry page, the edited frequency parameter will flash. If the customer needs to switch frequency, long press “UP“or”DOWN“Press the button to switch. If you don’t need to switch the frequency point, you can short press “MENU” Press the key to switch the high and low bits of the frequency parameter that needs to be edited. The corresponding bit to be edited will flash as a prompt, and then press “UP“or”DOWN“Press the button to increase or decrease the value of the corresponding bit of the parameter (If you want to cancel a certain frequency point, you only need to change the parameter of the corresponding frequency point to 000000).
After modifying the frequency parameters (Allows multiple parameters to be changed at one time), long press “MENU” button, all current parameters will flash (The parameter name and parameter value flash together), then release “MENU” button to complete editing and exit.Frequently used frequency entry page, return to the basic parameters page, and the new frequency parameter values will be recorded in the Parameter Configuration Tool
Commonly used frequency switching methods
In default mode, long press “UP” or “DOWN” button will be pressed based on the previously entered Common frequency points to switch (Maximum allowed in 4 Switch between commonly used frequencies), the screen will display the frequency point currently switched to (Centered, large font display), and stay for 5 seconds before returning to the basic parameter page:
