A: Not completely. This dual-channel model BDC2179 includes an internal power amplifier, which limits its bandwidth capability. This amplifier cannot support a wide 400 MHz frequency range and is restricted to a maximum bandwidth of approximately 100 MHz. As a result, the BDC2179 only supports the following frequency bands: 2140 ± 50 MHz / 2155 ± 50 MHz / 2250 ± 50 MHz / 2350 ± 50 MHz.
If you require full coverage of the 2.0–2.4 GHz range, we recommend using our single-channel model Vcan2016 (BDC2016). This model supports the entire 2000–2400 MHz frequency range. However, please note that the Vcan2016 is a single-channel device. If your COFDM receiver uses dual-channel diversity RF inputs, you will need to use two units to achieve the same functionality as a dual-channel solution.
