I saw a customer had such a need.
I’m looking for a long-range video transmitter operating between 100 MHz- 250 MHz. I need a range of at least 50 kilometers with no interruptions. I am working with a 433MHz transmitter/receiver.
He already uses a 433Mhz transmitter and receiver, which means he already has a set of data transmission equipment to control the drone and download the flight data of the drone. I understand that all he needs is a video transmission system to transmit the video from the drone camera to the ground through this system.
He particularly emphasized that the operating frequency of the required one-way video transmission system must be between 100 MHz and 250 MHz. In fact, the operating frequency of the COFDM digital video transmission system can be selected between 50 MHz and 860 MHz.
However, most of the cofdm receivers use DiBcom, a high-performance, dual-RF, and diverse receiver chip. DiBcom’s lowest operating frequency is 175Mhz, which means its operating frequency is 175~250MHz, which meets the needs of this customer.
Based on the above customer needs, I recommend our signal FPV1887. It can provide VTX VRX modules for customers to configure external amplifiers by themselves, or use an all-in-one machine. We provide a comprehensive solution including amplifiers and antennas. Customers receive the antenna and camera, and can work and test after powering on. At present, the three-watt amplifier can reach a transmission distance of 50 kilometers, which meets the 50-kilometer long-range transmission requirements mentioned by customers.

At the same time, this system adopts AES128-bit encrypted video encryption, which has no problem in terms of security. If customers still want to achieve a longer transmission distance and there is no interference, they can replace it with a 5-watt or 10-watt amplifier. This PA can increase the BLOS transmission range and signal strength of COFDM wireless signals, and you can consider using it. In addition to omnidirectional antennas, you can also choose Yagi or flat directional antennas or automatic tracking pan-tilts. The general gain of these directional antennas is twice that of ordinary omnidirectional antennas.

If customers need to transmit over a longer distance or beyond obstacles, our equipment can also add relays to extend the transmission range farther and wider.
