The customer has purchased our drone video data transmitter (air unit) and receiver (ground unit). In order to extend the distance and avoid obstacles, he wants to add a repeater and asks us how to operate it. We use TX900 as an example.

The customer did not request to add a repeater when placing the order, so the default configuration is.
| Air Unit | Ground Unit | |
|---|---|---|
| IP Address | 192.168.1.12 | 192.168.1.11 |
| Device Type | Access Node | Central Node |
| TDD Configruation | 1D4U |
We need to use the original ground receiving unit 192.168.1.11 as a relay, change the long antenna to a short antenna on the relay, add a new ground unit 192.168.1.13, connect it to the original long antenna, and configure it as follows.
| Air Unit | Relay / Repeater | Ground Unit | |
|---|---|---|---|
| IP Address | 192.168.1.12 | 192.168.1.11 | 192.168.1.13 |
| Device Type | Access Node | Central Node | Access Node |
| TDD Configruation | 2D3U |

Notes:
- Access node does not need to set the TDD configuration. (also can not modify the TDD configuration.)
