COFDM Video Transmitter Applications
- Military and Security: COFDM technology is widely used in military communications and security surveillance due to its robustness and reliability in challenging environments.
- Broadcasting: It’s employed in live broadcasting scenarios where high-quality video is crucial, such as sports events and news coverage.
- Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs): The technology is ideal for UAV applications, providing real-time video feeds from aerial platforms to ground stations without the need for internet connectivity.
In summary, COFDM video transmitters are essential tools in modern communication systems, offering high-quality, secure, and reliable video transmission across various industries.

We are a COFDM Video Transmitter factory in China. We can customize different transmitters for you. The frequency range is from 50Mhz to 6000Mhz. The general frequency range of the receiver is 170Mhz to 860Mhz. If the frequency exceeds this range, you need to add a frequency down-convertor.

Why do you need to customize the different frequencies?
- Signal Interference Avoidance: Different environments may have various sources of interference. By customizing the frequency, users can select a channel that minimizes interference from other devices, ensuring a clearer signal and better video quality.
- Regulatory Compliance: Different regions have specific regulations regarding frequency usage. Customizing the frequency allows the transmitter to comply with local laws and avoid operating on restricted frequencies, which can lead to legal issues or signal disruption.
- Optimizing Transmission Distance: The effectiveness of a COFDM system can vary based on the frequency used. Certain frequencies may provide better propagation characteristics in specific environments (e.g., urban vs. rural), which can enhance transmission distance and reliability.
- Bandwidth Requirements: Different applications may require varying bandwidths for optimal performance. Custom frequencies allow for adjustments in bandwidth, which can impact data rates and overall transmission quality.
- Equipment Compatibility: When integrating with other systems, it may be necessary to match the frequency of the COFDM transmitter with that of receivers or other communication devices to ensure compatibility and effective communication.
- User-Specific Applications: Certain applications may have unique requirements that necessitate specific frequencies. For instance, military operations might require frequencies that are less likely to be monitored or jammed.
In summary, customizing frequencies in COFDM video transmitters is crucial for enhancing performance, ensuring compliance, and meeting specific operational needs in various environments.

Of course, different transmitter COFDM power amplifiers will also transmit wireless video farther. The greater the wattage, the greater the transmission distance and anti-interference ability.

The following table shows the transmitter power amplifier and the transmission distance under LOS and NLOS conditions.
Here is a form for COFDM PA, LOS, and NLOS transmission distance for your reference.
| PA | LOS | NLOS |
| 500mW | >10Km | <300m |
| 1W | >30Km | <500m |
| 5W | >60Km | <1500m |
| 20W | >120km | <3000m |
| 50W | >200Km | <5000m |
| 100W | >250Km | <10Km |
