COFDM Wireless Downlink Transmitter

COFDM wireless digital video transmitter was designed for use with HD or SD cameras, it’s a superior miniature wireless video transmitter designed to capture real-time, high-quality video from Point of View Cameras, UAV/UGV/Body Cams/Concealments, and sports cameras. The transmitter features HDMI or SDI or AV inputs with COFDM modulation technology and H.264/H.265 encoding that complete video audio transmission in high-speed motion and NLOS (non line of sight) conditions with low latency. COFDM wireless transmitter delivers up to 27dBm/30dBm/34dBm(different model) of power in a small metal case weighing less than 150 grams, providing long range, reliable HD video transmission.

All of our COFDM wireless transmitters are consist of three modules, H264/H.265 video encoder module, COFDM modulation module and power amplifier. All of our COFDM transmitters use the same modulation module(our RCB Module),the same H264 video encoder solution in different board model. All of the transmitters can be setup with our Config Panel or Windows PC via control UART.

Performance
Video latency: about 200ms, when our COFDM transmitter is paired with the receiver, the video(1080p60) latency from its inputting of the transmitter to the HDMI screen displaying of the receiver is about 200~250ms.

Wireless transmission range: this is relative with many conditions, the following data is just for your reference. When 1W(RF power) COFDM transmitter paired with the receiver, 6MHz bandwidth, centre frequency 590MHz, 5 dBi omni antenna with 2 metres to the groud on both sides, the LOS(line of sight) transmission range is about 1km to 2km. When 1W(RF power) COFDM transmitter paired with the receiver, 6MHz bandwidth, centre frequency 590MHz, 1.5 dBi omni antenna on the UAV(flying height 100 metre), two 7 dBi omni antenna with about 2 metre to the ground, the LOS(line of sight) transmission range is about 10km to 20 km.
