Uruguay’s government has called a public consultation on the digital switchover process. Comments will be accepted until 19 February. According to a joint statement from the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining and regulator Dinatel, the public can participate through an online form or personally delivering their opinions to the offices of either of the bodies. Uruguay has adopted the Japanese-Brazilian digital TV standard ISDB-T for the deployment of digital TV services.
